John MacPhail

CEO

Mr. MacPhail has 30 years of experience in the investment banking industry, having worked at several Canadian investment dealers, including as CEO of a national dealer that he joined during the 2008 economic crisis and later successfully sold to another large Canadian investment dealer. As an investment banker, Mr. MacPhail has been involved in raising in excess of $2 billion dollars for a broad range of companies across various sectors, with a particular focus on healthcare. Most recently, he was CEO of I-5 Holdings Ltd. (“I-5”), a Canadian company with holdings in the US medical cannabis sector. I-5 was sold earlier this year Captor Capital Inc. (CSE:CPTR), a Canadian-listed investment company. Mr. MacPhail also sits on the boards of several other public companies and has been involved with numerous non-profit organizations.


Robert Wilson

PRESIDENT

Mr. Wilson has a 30-year career in investment management and investment banking, with a particular focus on M&A, corporate governance and corporate management. During his career, Mr. Wilson has held senior positions in investment banking at BMO Nesbitt Burns, First Marathon Securities, Yorkton Securities and Research Capital.  Mr. Wilson has also managed investment portfolios at a major Canadian venture capital firm as well as at a subordinated debt fund that he co-founded in 2014. Most recently, Mr. Wilson held senior positions at two publicly-listed cannabis companies, where he was responsible for corporate finance and M&A. Over his career, Mr. Wilson has held board seats and senior executive positions at six public companies listed on the CSE, TSX and TSXV exchanges.


Will Mayhew, Jr.

President and CEO of Geaux Industries

Mr. Will Mayhew, Jr. is President and CEO of Signal 88 Security of Pomona. In this capacity, he oversees all phases of regional operations and ensures the delivery of quality customer service along with the other members of the operational staff. Mr. Mayhew has over 23 years of diversified security service and management experience. Prior to starting his owner company, he was anExecutive Vice-President and an Area Vice President for an international competitor. Under his leadership, his area developed strong customer service attributes and a solid safety record. Mr. Mayhew earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University. Mr. Mayhew is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (A.S.I.S.).  He is also a member of Pomona Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is on the executive board for the Boys and Girls Club of the South Bay.

 
 

Adam Sexton

Board Member

Adam Sexton is a seasoned business, entertainment, and digital media executive with broad experience launching and operating disruptive products and services for global entertainment, technology industry leaders, and start-ups. He has held senior management positions at several multi-national companies, including Gracenote/Tribune Media, Samsung, Macrovision, Arista/BMG, and EMI. Sexton has also held C-level positions at well funded high growth venture backed companies, including Groove Mobile and Supertracks. He was repeatedly successful at raising funds from leading venture capitalists in Silicon Valley, Boston, and Israel. At Samsung, he was General Manager of WatchON, Samsung's multi-screen video discovery service which featured Netflix, Hulu, VUDU (Walmart), Crackle (Sony) and live linear TV, and allowed access to content from TV, tablet, and mobile phone. Sexton has had repeated success identifying emerging consumer trends, and has built and operated innovative products and services for NBC Universal, Sprint, 3UK, Bell Mobility, and Best Buy, among many others. Earlier in his career, Sexton was in the music business, working with artists including Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Sarah McLachlan, and D'Angelo. He also served on the Board Handleman, a publicly traded music, video and games distributor with $1.2B in annual revenue. Sexton received his BA from Harvard and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
